You can easily modify the skin of any module by editing the skin templates located in your skin folder of the main cart application, without any need to change the actual PHP code of the modules (and without hiring a programmer). All you need is some basic HTML knowledge (and perhaps a basic understanding of SMARTY).

The skin template files for the modules are located in :  components/com_ixxocart/content/skins/flat/boxes/

(assuming you are using the default flat skin template)

For the search module, the associated skin file would be : components/com_ixxocart/content/skins/flat/boxes/box_search.html

where you can easily add or change any html code you want.

Same applies for all modules.
